We got a new camera! Well, new-to-us. We sold the free xbox that came with our new laptop (the main man's still mourning that loss), so we were able to replace our camera too. Daniel found a great deal on last year's model of a refurbished Nikon point-and-shoot. (We've had awesome experiences with refurbished from TV to blender and now camera. Daniel's awesome at finding online deals!)
And great timing, because I'm almost a week away from my August resolution of taking a photo-a-day! I'm so excited to share interviews from some photographers I love and my own attempt at improving our daily family photos--point-and-shoot style :)
I acquainted myself with the camera a little as soon as it came in earlier today. I was hesitant at first because I have loved the options and ease of use with the two Canons we've had in the last 7 years. It'll take me some time to get used to the options and where to find them, but overall I am pleased and look forward to reading the manual to learn even more about what this puppy can do.
