Before: MOM
housekeeper, caregiver, fashion faux pa
Ponytail
low maintenance for a day of productivity.
Sweatshirt
comfy and the only pink I own. (Did you even notice the pink?)
Flared Jeans
fit perfectly over my Mizuno's for the mad dash to the grocery store while Brylee's in preschool.

After: TRINA
Daniel's date
Curled Hair
it takes forever, which is why it only gets done for date nights and church. And the added bonus of crazy hair: the curl doesn't have to be washed out right away, so my hard work pays off :)
Make-up and Contacts
I'm no pro at make-up, but considering I don't wear it on a regular basis, a little goes a long way in improving my complexion and the overall date night look.
Skinny Jeans
I didn't like them at all, then I finally bought a pair "only to wear with boots," now I have two pairs that I wear all the time because they're my favorite.
My two favorite date night staples: skinny jeans and black blazer. They are so versatile! Casual with a tee and rolled sleeves or dressy with a fancy blouse and ballet slippers. That's about as "trendy" as I get :)
